Today was a 3 hour videoconference. I am sure you guys can imagine how much craziness happened! First of all, the equipment was not set up properly so after about 15 minutes into the meeting the IT guy came in so we had to take a break and have him reset up the equipment. Then throughout the meeting PJL decided to talk and talk and talk. It got to the point that no one else could state their opinions. As the minute taker, at one point I just about put my head down in frustration. Sadly, thats all the excitement that happened that day.

Nothing exciting happened today since no one was in because of Tropical Storm Fay, maybe tomorrow will be more exciting...

Coffee
8/20/2008
Today started out like any other day at the office. I arrived at 7 just as I do every day. Generally it is very quiet since not many people are there. I went to KL's office once I got in to discuss the upcoming training class with her. MC was there. The topic quickly went to the impending hurricane/tropical storm/ tropical depression. I learned how quickly anarchy can ensue once a weather disaster occurs. Finally, at around 7:30-7:40 this is when the real fun began. SR found out that someone had taken her half-and-half from the community fridge in the break room. This was bad! She proceeded to try and track down her creamer. She went from cubicle to cubicle asking everyone if they had it or had seen her creamer. When everyone denied using it or seeing it, she put a note on the fridge asking for its return. We concluded that possibly someone from a different office could have taken it.
Later on in the day, my penguin pen was threatened by TM. I now have to bring it with me whereever I go.
Other than that, nothing else fun to report today.
